White standards with a very discreet pale lavender brim. Almost horizontal falls, pure white with a precise amethyst border (10mm wide). Yellowish orange beards.

The genus takes its name from the Greek word for Rainbow and the array of colours available in the various groups of Iris do that name justice. As with the Hosta we have selected just a few varieties to showcase the Japanese Iris (I. ensata) Bearded Iris (I. germanica) and the Siberian Iris (I. sibirica).
