Family : Plantaginaceae

The largest group with in the Plantaginaceae, these attractive perennials come in a range of shapes and sizes from spreading ground cover to upright mid border plants. While generally needing a cold period to kick start flowering many of the modern hybrids will flower without vernalisation allowing re-blooming to occur throughout the summer. Generally colours range from white through pink and purple towards blue.
