Verbena are often regarded as bedding plants but there are a number of hardier varieties that make excellent garden plants. Lollipop is a compact V. bonariensis type that flowers from July throughout the Summer and Autumn, while Seabrooks Lavender makes spreading mats of foliage covered with flower.
Verbena prefer a position in full sun with well drained moisture retentive soil.
