This specific variety, of the Walberton’s series, has won the ‘Award of Garden Merit’ from the Royal Horticultural Society AGM (H4) 2021.
Features clumps of upright bright green sword like foliage and sprays of upward or sideways facing large orange flowers with a bright scarlet centre

These bulbous perennials are reliable tough and make a splash of colour in the Summer border. Grow in full sun in well drained but moisture retentive soil.
The colourful flower spikes make excellent cut flowers either in flower or later once they have set seed.
